Our Story

DarkCats began in 2018 as a personal photography project by founder Alex Whiskers. What started as a way to capture the beauty of his black cat, Shadow, quickly grew into a community of photographers and cat enthusiasts.

Today, we're a team of 10 passionate individuals working across three countries, united by our love for cats and dark aesthetics. We collaborate with shelters, photographers, and cat owners worldwide to bring you the most stunning feline content.
